Paez of Frida’s Closet
Designer Sandra Paez, owner of Frida’s Closet, is known for her
unique designs distinctively touched with vibrant accents of lace
trims, bright ribbons and tailored lines enhanced by tapestry and
fine fabrics. Now favorites among local and national clients, Paez’s
designs are sometimes treated as works of art with each garment numbered
and marked as a limited edition.
The famous surrealist Mexican painter, Frida Kahlo, has influenced
Paez’s creativity in all her designs, revealed in her long skirts
with colorful Mexican-style laces and trims, beautiful vintage inspired
dresses, classic silhouettes with a touch of novelty trims and bright
colors that revive her Latin heritage. Sandra Paez believes in domestic
craftsmanship and supporting the local economy, a necessity that gives
